After years of raising a family in their home, the
Gollhofer's decided the time had come to update their
kitchen with a more functional and attractive space.
Utilizing their own design ideas, the homeowners were able
to construct a kitchen that met their unique needs.
The appliances chosen for the Gollhofer's kitchen are all
G.E. Monogram products. These include a 48" dual fuel
range with customized hood liner system, a 42" wide built-in
refrigerator, microwave, warming drawer, trash compactor,
and integrated dishwasher.
G.E. Monogram's 48" dual fuel range features an ultra-low
140 degree simmer as well as powerful 17,000 BTU capability.
With it's reversible cast iron grates, the range gives the
ability to cook on a traditional flat or a contoured wok
surface. The double ovens include bright halogen
lights to illuminate the interior when convection or other
baking needs are in use.
The 42" built-in refrigerator includes 25.5 cubic feet of
capacity to accommodate a large supply of food items.
The exclusive Climate-Control drawer in the refrigerator
allows the homeowners to express-chill beverages,
express-thaw meats, and select specific temperatures for
other perishable foods.
The warming drawer maintains a precise low temperature for
cooked foods and regulates the humidity inside the drawer,
preventing items from drying out.
To
aid in the cleanup process following a meal, the homeowners
chose to flank their sink with G.E. Monogram's built-in
trash compactor and an ultra-silent integrated dishwasher.
The powerful 1/3 HP motor of the compactor provides
heavy-duty compacting capability while the dishwasher cleans
brilliantly yet noiselessly.
